Meredith Vanstone is Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster University and a Scientist affiliated with McMaster’s program for Education Research, Innovation & Theory (MERIT). Meredith has a PhD in Health Professional Education from Western University (2012), and has completed postdoctoral studies in Health Policy at McMaster University (2013). Meredith is an interdisciplinary researcher who uses qualitative approaches to examine social and ethical issues related to health professional practice, education and health policy. Her research in the area of health professional education uses a policy lens to explore the social complexity of practice. Meredith has provided social and ethics evidence and consulting to provincial, national, and international health policy decision-makers.
