Sylvia Langlois is Associate Professor in Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy, Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty Lead, Interprofessional Education and Scholarship, Centre for Interprofessional Education, at the University of Toronto. In her faculty role in Occupational Therapy, she supports a course that promotes the development of professionalism. In her Faculty Lead role, she is responsible for a curriculum fostering collaborative competency development for over 4200 students registered in the eleven health profession programs at the University of Toronto. In this capacity, Sylvia has learned the value of partnering with patients in the educational process. She has several publications exploring student learning and has presented this work at multiple national and international conferences.
